What is a Travel Trailer?

A travel trailer is an RV that is towed by a trailer hitch. It is one of the most popular types of RVs and comes in many different models, floor plans and price ranges. They can range from small and compact in size with not a lot of interior space and features to large in length and weight with slides, private bedrooms, bunkhouses, full bathrooms and more.

These types of RVs can be a great fit for everyone because of the wide variety of sizes, prices, features and more. You will need a tow vehicle to take this RV to the campsite. And depending on the travel trailer's length will depend on the type of tow vehicle you will need to tow it.

This travel trailer is seven feet wide and the length ranges from 19’4.5” to 25’8”, depending on the floor plan. The freshwater tank has a capacity of 31 gallons and the black and gray water tank has a capacity of 35 gallons. This model has a gross vehicle weight rating of 4,200 to 6,000 pounds and can sleep three to five people comfortably, making it great for small families or groups.

Micro Minnie Floor Plans

The Winnebago Micro Minnie travel trailer comes in ten different floor plans with additional add-on features and options available for each model. This wide variety means there is a perfect match for most RVer's lifestyles and budgets.

The smallest floor plan option for the Micro Minnie is the 1708FB. It is 19’4” in length and can sleep three people. It offers a spacious sleeping space in the front of the RV, a small, corner dry bath, booth dinette seating and a small galley kitchen. It is a great fit for shorter trips while still offering everything you need while away from home.

The larger Micro Minnie floor plan is the 2225RL model. It is 25’8” in length and can sleep up to five people, so it’s a great option for families. Kitchen

The Micro Minnie galley kitchen has everything you need to create fresh, home-cooked meals. There is a 10.3 cubic foot 12V refrigerator, microwave convection and a recessed three-burner cooktop with backlit knobs and a glass cover. Campers can easily store food, cook homemade meals and store any leftovers. Having a kitchen while traveling allows you to save money and eat better.

Common Space

The common space comes standard with a lot of great features such as a booth dinette, LED TV and depending on the floor plan, a sleeper sofa. There is also USB charging ports, wireless cell phone charger, WiFi prep, all-in-one control panel and more.

The common interior space is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring a new landscape. Recharge yourself and your electronics as you prepare for another day of adventures.

Sleeping Space and Bathroom

The Winnebago Micro Minnie offers a double bed at the front of the camper that sleeps two people comfortably. The booth dinette can also be transformed into an extra sleeping space and the bigger floor plans offer a sleep sofa that can sleep two people as well. So, as it is a compact camper, it still has space for the whole family.

There is a full bathroom in the RV as well. Some models it is in the back, while others have it in the middle of the camper. It offers a toilet, shower and sink so RVers have a complete bathroom with space to get ready for each day.

Exterior and Construction

The Winnebago Micro Minnie was built to last with the NXG engineered frame, exterior fiberglass sidewalls with Azdel and a one-piece TPO roof membrane. There are also aluminum wheel assemblies, a gel-coast fiberglass front cap and more.

The exterior offers just as many features as the interior with LED exterior lighting, power awning, and exterior speakers. These features allow comfort and convenience while enjoying the outdoors.

The Winnebago Micro Minnie is an ideal camper for smaller groups because of its size. Although it is compact, it is still packed with many features and amenities that make it feel like a home on wheels. The Micro Minnie is a lightweight trailer and offers campers the opportunity to roam the country and visit all their favorite parks.
