If you’ve been to a thrift store in the last few years, we’re sure you’ve noticed a few people scavenging the aisles looking for vintage pieces or genuine antiques. Furniture, clothing, and decor from the 60s and 70s are all the rage, and 90s fashion is also making a comeback with low-rise jeans and grunge rocker looks.
We know this’ll make you feel old, but even the early 2000s are considered vintage nowadays, and styles from that time are rising in popularity as a result. So we thought, why not check out some of our most charming vintage RVs across America? These campers are filled with personality, with the cozy interiors that more modern RVs lack and a retro outer look that will let the other people on the road know you’re keeping up with the times by turning back the clock!
‘96 Airstream RV LandYacht - Louisville, KY
With an all-wood interior and beautifully detailed glass cabinet doors, you can imagine this motorhome being the set of a Full House vacation episode. We can definitely imagine Danny Tanner placing this bald eagle sticker on the back window in an effort to look cool as he travels America! At a mileage of 182,295, she’s definitely been on more than a few vacations, and she might be a bit of a fixer-upper. But where else are you going to find this kind of character?!?

‘99 Starcraft 26FK - Philadelphia, PA
This is one of our favorite used RVs right now. While it may be newer than the LandYacht, this trailer feels very much like somewhere your grandma would feel comfortable. With little details like a patterned backsplash and a matching couch, there are flowers everywhere! What’s not to love? Plus, this trailer is full of small details that newer, more mass-produced RVs often lose. The wood-faced refrigerator and the gallery rails on all the open shelves make it a homey environment, perfect for enjoying a cup of tea.

‘04 Winnebago Sunrise 36M - Sewell, NJ
She may be technically “vintage,” but at only 43,735 miles, this motorhome has a lot of life left! The fun pattern on the couch and the dinette chairs follows into the bedroom’s trim, and the built-in pull-out spice rack is another example of how older RVs are just more fun. The popcorn ceiling and wood cabinetry make this feel just like a standard home, and the plush recliner and warm lighting ensure that it’ll be the perfect place to curl up during a rainstorm and watch some CSI.

‘05 Winnebago Vectra 40FD - Minot, ND
We know what you’re thinking: 2005? That’s not vintage. Kids born that year are probably still in middle school! This came as a surprise to us too, but a child born in 2005 would now be 20 years old, firmly in their college years. Because the earliest an item can technically be considered “vintage” is 20 years after production, that means that this motorhome is officially vintage! At 46,087 miles, she’s definitely still kicking, and we think that she’s got the best of both worlds. She’s got a wood-faced refrigerator and gold sconces, in addition to a more modern tiled backsplash and newer appliances. This is a perfect motorhome for someone who enjoys the character of vintage motorhomes but wants something a little more updated.
