We can't believe that the week is almost half over feels like it's flown by and we can't wait to help you go camping this weekend. In today's blog post we are going to be giving solutions to the most frequent motor home problems RV'ers face.
Motorhome Problem's and SolutionsProblem: I can’t relax while driving. I’m always correcting the steering wheel.
• Solution: The XC chassis has one bell crank on the left, front frame rail that can freeze up and cause this problem. Replace the OEM bell crank with a HD roller bearing bell crank such as Super Steer.
Problem: My coach porpoises when I hit a dip in the road.
• Solution: Bilstein shocks make an extra HD front shock for the XC chassis.
Problem: I always have to steer into a side wind or road crown. It wears me out!
• Solution: With the push of a button mounted on the dash, a TruCenter steering control will re-center itself to compensate for side winds and road crown. This makes driving much more enjoyable and relaxing!
Problem: My coach rocks side to side violently when I am going into a fuel stop or rural campground. It leans hard to one side in a sharp corner also.
• Solution: Air bag restrictor valves prevent air in the air bags from rushing from one air bag to the other, greatly reducing the side to side rock & roll. They also help if your coach porpoises or dives under hard braking.
Problem: Porpoising, bouncing, harsh ride and floating front end.
• Solution: Upgrade to Bilstein HD shock absorbers. This will improve ride quality and control.
Problem: Excessive body roll on winding roads, windy conditions, passing trucks.
• Solution: Install front & rear HD sway bar for more control & safer handling. This reduces body-roll & sway of the vehicle.
Problem: Concerns about front tire blowout.
• Solution: TruCenter holds you in a straight position even in the case of a front tire blow out.
