If you’re looking for a spacious and luxurious Fifth Wheel, the Grand Design Solitude could be the perfect match for your lifestyle. It offers a lot of room, storage and features, all at an affordable price. In this blog, we will talk about the 2022 Solitude Fifth wheel and compare it to the Grand Design Reflection.
What is a Fifth Wheel?
A Fifth wheel is a great option for families and couples looking to get into the RV lifestyle. It gives you a large amount of space, similar to a Class A, but it is not a motorhome. A Fifth Wheel is a split-level RV that must be towed with a gooseneck hitch in the bed of a pickup truck, while motorhomes can be driven independently and do not have to be pulled.
About Grand Design
Grand Design prides itself on the quality of its RVs. Every one of its units is put through two inspections, one during manufacturing and another after the unit is completed.
After passing those, the unit is sent to another facility for a “pre-delivery inspection.” If the RV passes the 300+ point inspection, the unit is then sent to dealerships. Every grand design coach also comes with a 3-year limited structural warranty.
How Much Does a Grand Design Solitude Cost?
There are 12 different Solitude floorplans for RVers to choose from. The price range varies based on the model and features you want. The Solitude’s starting price is around $108,000 and the most expensive floorplan is nearly $146,000.
