Yesterday, Jeff Hirsch and his family arrived at the Tiffin Factory in Alabama to pick up their brand new, custom-ordered Tiffin Phaeton QKH Class A Motorhome. And looking at the pictures, it’s a beautiful work of RV art!

Here is a live update from Jeff and his family:
I attended Tiffin’s Dealer Days on Tuesday and Wednesday.
On Tuesday, we toured the Tiffin Motorhomes facility. We visited the various stations of the manufacturing process to see what goes into making one of America's best-built motorhomes. Tiffin has been an innovator over the years, and I promise you that there are some exciting things in the pipeline, and some of it is “hush-hush”. I will say that there are some exciting new slide room technologies coming out in the future!
I'm always impressed by Tiffin's employees. They all seem to be happy and proud of what they do—and don't forget about that southern hospitality! The Tiffin family continues to invest heavily in equipment and technology so they can give customers superb motorhomes. Currently, they are building an additional 60,000 square foot building for a new chassis plant, and they are essentially gutting the old plant to make it the new home of their cabinet facility. With this new cabinet facility, Tiffin will be working on innovative technology in cabinet design and build, and they will be continuing to do the famed finish and detail work they are currently known for.
Tiffin is also ahead of the game when it comes to tiles in RVs. While other manufacturers may also sell RVs with porcelain tiles, Tiffin cuts its tiles with a water jet…a$600,000 water jet! Most companies either cut with a saw, or they score and snap the tiles. This type of cut can damage a tile, but the water jet leaves the tile unharmed with a clean cut.
On Wednesday, I learned that Campers Inn RV is one of the top ten volume dealers for Tiffin in America. My first thought was: wow, what an accomplishment to achieve after only three full years selling them! I give a huge thanks to all our customers who have made this possible, and a huge thanks to our employees who dedicate their time to being the trusted resource in our industry.
Also on Wednesday, I spent some time with warranty and service people looking at new product. Everything looks great for 2016! Then, we ended the meeting to attend a wonderful dinner with Bob Tiffin and his wife Judy. I must say, we were surprised and honored to be a guest at the Tiffin household! During the dinner, the conversation somehow went from talking about RV's to talking about horses and farms. Also, at our table was College Football Hall of Fame coach, Gene Stallings. Gene gave us a heart-warming talk on the virtues of being a good human.
On Thursday, we picked up our new Tiffin Phaeton. What a machine! My wife and the girls love it, and I love driving it. She (the motorhome) really is beautiful.
Happy Trails! –Jeff Hirsch

In the next few weeks, Jeff and his family plan to head out west in their brand new Tiffin motorhome. According to Jeff, they have no intended destination so far. “The great attraction to RV travel is there is no schedule,” said Jeff. If you know of any great spots for the Hirsches to explore, let us know in the comments!
