Myrtle Beach RV Campgrounds
For RVers, the Grand Strand offers many campgrounds with beachfront access. Camping is an affordable way for both seasonal campers and vacationers to experience Myrtle Beach. Lakewood Camping Resort boasts over 1,100 camp sites on 200 acres. The resort features an abundance of waterfront accommodations with a half mile of beachside sites and five lakes and ponds in the resort. Fun family activities include a water park and lazy river, mini-golf, peddle boats, canoes and pools. Full hook-ups with 20, 30 and 50 amp electrical.
Ocean Lakes Family Campground features over 850 sites with a mile-long stretch of beach and several interior lake sand ponds. The spacious sites include full water, sewer, and electric hook-up (20-30-50), cable, and free wifi. Inside the resort, campers can find an arcade, mini-golf course, a nature center and games like shuffleboard, basketball and volleyball.
Beachside Pirateland Campground has a variety of site options for RVers, including premium concrete, shaded, lakeside and oceanfront sites. Site include full hookups with 30-50 electric, cable as well as free wifi. The resort features an Olympic-sized, pirate-themed pool and a 510 foot Lazy River. Campers can also enjoy mini-golf, paddle boat and kayak rentals and an arcade.
The Myrtle Beach KOA has both pull-through and back-in RV campsites available. The sites have full hookups with 50/30 and 30/20 amp electrics, as well as wifi and cable. Campers can enjoy a year-round pool and fishing. Propane, firewood and bike rentals are available for a fee. Children can have fun getting soaked in the splash pad, tie-dying t-shirts and or bouncing on the trampoline-like jump pillow.
For campers looking for a rustic experience, Myrtle Beach State Park offers a uniquely undeveloped respite in the heart of the city. The park offers 66 full hook-up sites for RVs with water, sewer and electric. The park also includes a fishing pier (no SC license required), two easy hiking trails, and a mile-long beach.
