Brilliant foliage. Cool, crisp air. Late nights by the campfire. Fall camping is one of the best ways to experience the great outdoors. However, it does require some additional planning when packing up your RV. The weather can be hot, cold or anywhere in between, and nights often get surprisingly chilly. The sun sets sooner, so extra firewood and flashlight batteries are essential so you don’t get caught in the dark. And course, you’ll need to pack for hikes, arts and crafts, leaf-jumping and more!
We’ve put together a checklist to help you gear up and enjoy the season to its fullest.
Dress in layers!
