Grand Design uses laminated aluminum framed construction on the side, rear walls and the roof of every slide room. The roof has a wood truss frame, which provides a full walk-on roof and better insulation, so you stay comfortable. There is also a no-streak thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) roof covering with a 12-year warranty.
Racetrack ducting is also used in the construction for efficient cooling. It allows uninterrupted airflow from the back to the front of the RV – this is available in the Reflection, Momentum and Solitude models. They also have ductless flooring, which helps prevent the trapping of dirt, dust and debris. Grand Design’s ducts are in the base of the cabinets.
All Grand Design RVs have pass-through storage bays that were designed with storage in mind. The plumbing and electrical wiring are installed around the storage space to provide maximum storage capabilities.
