Congratulations to Toni Taylor-Wehr and Racheal Clyde on making RV PRO magazine's annual 40 Under 40 list. This honor recognizes an extensive lineup of the next generation of RV industry leaders.
Racheal Clyde, Assistant Service Director
As the Assistant Service Director, Racheal helps drive service profitability through managing and developing high performing individuals and teams with respect to job performance, company work values, and morale. Racheal has been a member of the Campers Inn RV team for four years, and this is her first job in the RV industry.
"Earning this 40 Under 40 honor is a significant milestone in my career," said Clyde. "It’s a recognition of the hard work, dedication, and passion I’ve invested in my teams and career. It also serves as motivation to continue to strive for excellence and to be a better leader for my teams. I’m excited to collaborate with more stores and teams, while also mentoring both emerging and existing leaders to enhance their stores and teams for sustained success and stability."
Racheal lists her biggest accomplishments as developing a strong culture in Parts & Service Departments, within multiple stores, through strategic best practices and team-oriented development.
Racheal encourages other women to join the RV industry, saying it can be incredibly rewarding, from building customer and employee relations to gaining everyday confidence by learning both technical and coaching skills.
Toni Taylor-Wehr, Merchandise Manager
As the Merchandise Manager for Campers Inn RV, Toni is pivotal in deciding which products will be carried in the Parts and Accessories stores around the country, she also resets stores to make them more visually appealing for customers, assists with inventory needs and helps to build and maintain relationships with our partners.
Toni has been with Campers Inn RV for 3 ½ years and has been in the industry for more than 10 years.
"Earning the Top 40 Under 40 recognition is a huge honor for me," said Toni Taylor-Wehr. "It reflects the dedication and effort I’ve put into my career, but more importantly, it inspires me to continue growing and advancing within Campers Inn RV."
Toni says it is hard for her to pinpoint which career accomplishment she is most proud of because she jumps in and helps wherever it’s needed. She has lead several store sets and have set up successful retail parts shows.
Toni's advice to other women who are thinking about joining the RV industry is to:
Be Confident: Confidence in your skills and knowledge can make a big difference. Know that you belong in the industry and that your contributions are valuable.
Build a Strong Support Network: Seek out mentors and allies who can offer guidance and support. Joining women-focused industry groups or networks can provide a sense of community and help you navigate challenges.
Communicate Clearly: In a predominantly male field, clear and assertive communication is crucial. Make your ideas and opinions known, and don’t be afraid to advocate for yourself.
Stay Persistent: Challenges may arise, but persistence is key. Continue learning, adapting, and proving your worth.
Toni says she is most excited to continue to be involved with making a greater impact on the parts departments, improving the customer's experiences, and continuing to advance in her career with Campers Inn RV.
