I hope you all had a great week and are gearing up for another fantastic weekend with your family camping. One of the best parts of RVing with your family is unplugging for the weekend enjoying the outdoors and spending quality time together. Without computers, tv's, and video games kids sometimes utter the most terrifying of phrases "I'm bored" so we have decided to put together our favorite camping activities for kids. We promise with these activities your kids will forget all about candy crush for the weekend.
Scavenger Hunt: One of the easiest ways to keep the kids entertained for a couple hours is to set up a a scavenger hunt, It's also a great way to explore and learn about nature.

Glow In The Dark Ring Toss: All kids love glow sticks and this game will keep them having fun after the sun goes down!
Decorate Walking Sticks: Have your kids bring back to the campsite a cool walking stick they found during a hike. Once back at the campsite they can decorate them with paint, beads and stickers making a fun keepsake they can use all summer long.
Marshmallow and toothpick creations: One of the most creative and inexpensive ways to keep your kids occupied during a camping trip is to see who can build the coolest creation out of tooth picks and marshmallows
Star gazing: No RV trip would be complete without some star gazing, print off this pattern and have your kids make a star gazing wheel during the day then put it in action at night. It's a great and educational way to spend time together as a family. We also recommend bringing a pair of binoculars with you for star gazing.
