RVing? There's an app for that...

We hope you had a great weekend camping with your family! We know that after being surrounded by iPads, smart phones, laptops and TV's the last thing you want to bring on your camping trip is your mobile device, however these devices can make your RV trip easier and keep the kids entertained during long drives so we have decided to compile our list of best travel or RV related apps!

Netflix and Hulu: If you subscribe to these video content platforms at home you can also take them with you on the road. The best part about Netflix and Hulu is they offer a huge array of kid friendly content that will keep your kids from saying "ARE WE THERE YET?!" during long drives.

Gas Buddy: One of the most costly aspects of RVing is fueling up your rig, though the cost is no where near the cost of flights, hotels and rental cars it would be nice to spend as little as possible on gas so you can use it on the fun stuff.

Family Car Games: Speaking of entertaining kids check out the app family car games, it feature over 100 games that require absolutely no equipment not even your Iphone. That's right you find a game by sorting age and interest read the instructions and put the Iphone away. All you need to play is two or more people!

RV Pocket Reference: For $1.99 you could have a useful RV guide right on your phone just in case while you are on the road you need a quick reference. The content of this app includes RV types and classes, electrical systems, plumbing systems, appliances, heating and air conditioning systems, trailer hitches, brake, wiring, towing and dinghy, Rving and towing laws, tires, RV weight and leveling and stabilizing.

Woodall's RV and Camping Copilot: With this app you can find your next perfect campground by searching city and state and browsing over 12,000 campgrounds as well as over 1,000 popular attractions pinpointed on the map.

 

Allstays Walmart Overnight Parking Locator: Do you enjoy boondocking while on the road? With the Allstays app you can search which Walmart's  will allow you to park over night.

RV Companion: This app is every RV'ers best friend! In one convenient place you will be able to create; to do lists, record the campgrounds you have visited, log your trips, keep important RV info, have easy access to a leveler, and flashlight.
