One of the joys of RV life is being able to cook your own meals while on the road. But with a smaller fridge, limited freezer space, and compact countertops, cooking in an RV requires a little creativity and planning. Here are some practical tips to make the most of your RV kitchen.

# Smart Fridge and Freezer Tips

RV fridges and freezers are usually smaller than the ones at home, so it helps to buy smaller-size items whenever possible. Don’t stress too much though—most RV refrigerators can comfortably fit a gallon of milk, which is plenty for basic meals.

Pro tip: When buying frozen items like pizza, check your freezer size first. To save space, remove the pizza from its box before placing it in the freezer. Every inch counts in a small kitchen.
