Escaping the Winter Weather in the Southern States

Written by Mackenzie Simmons | December 21, 2023

Camping is a popular hobby for many outdoor enthusiasts, but during the winter months it's a bit more difficult to find bearable climates to enjoy with family and friends. Many campgrounds in southern states remain open during the winter months, catering to RVers and campers seeking milder climates. It provides people the opportunity to relax and connect with nature while still being able to handle the weather and temperatures outside.

Not every campground is open year-long or offers activities to do when it gets cold outside. But just because it gets cold outside, doesn’t mean that the camping fun has to end. We gathered five southern campsites that offer activities year-round so you can continue to experience the RV life all year long.
