ELLWOOD CITY, PA/STAFFORD, VA — Campers Inn RV, the nation’s largest family-owned RV dealership, today announced it has completed the acquisition of Clem’s RV & Trailer Sales in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania and Stafford, Virginia. The former Clem’s stores will now be known as Campers Inn RV of Pittsburgh and Campers Inn RV of Fredericksburg, respectively. With this transition, Campers Inn RV now operates 13 full-service dealerships throughout the eastern United States.

Clem’s RV & Trailer Sales was founded by steelworker Clemente Giancola, Sr. and his wife Helen in 1964, and it remained a family-owned regional RV powerhouse for 50 years. Campers Inn RV began the acquisition process in July, and it is committed to maintaining the legacy the Giancola family built. Campers Inn RV now owns all assets of the former dealership, and it has moved Clem’s web presence to its own site at www.campersinn.com. The new stores are the latest additions to the company’s fast-growing roster of dealerships. Campers Inn RV opened its first Pennsylvania location earlier this year by acquiring Media Camping Center outside of Philadelphia. It also celebrated ribbon-cutting ceremonies for locations in Atlanta, GA and Union, CT.
