**Upgrading your RV is a huge decision, but sometimes it’s necessary so you can continue enjoying the lifestyle you are passionate about.** Many RVers eventually grow out of the rig they have owned for years, and they start pining for something newer, bigger and more comfortable.

But upgrading your RV is a major undertaking, so you need to be 100% sure you are ready to move up. At first, you bought a pop-up or a small travel trailer to take your family on weekend getaways during the summer. Now, you’ve fallen in love with the RV lifestyle, and you want to take longer RV adventures. If your rig is spending more time in the shop than on the open road, it might be time to upgrade, especially if the repair costs start to exceed the value of your RV. Furthermore, older RVs tend to have outdated safety features, so by upgrading, you can increase your peace-of-mind during upcoming RV adventures.

**You want the maximum sale or trade-in value**

Your RV isn’t getting any more valuable as it ages (well, unless you have a retro Shasta or Airstream from the 60’s).
